The Garlands of Barrington
Housekeeper
Thoroughly cleans rooms in each residential unit to meet and exceed the expectations of the Members. Assists in cleaning of public areas. Must be well organized with the ability to handle a variety of responsibilities. Experience in Hotel or Long Term Care housekeeping work is preferred. Must be able to communicate in English, Repeated push and/or pull weighing up to 100 lbs, lift up to 25 lbs, stand, stoop and walk continuously. 1 Full time 7:45 am-4:15 pm. Includes working weekends and holidays as needed. $10 an hour
Dining Room Busser/Expeditor $10 an hour
Assists in delivering food and beverage to tables, clears and resets tables. Read order to cooks, Tray up orders when tickets are complete. Set up and break down condiment & “To Go” station. Assist in banquet set-up. Polishes silverware and helps steward with dishwashing, Must be well organized with the ability to handle a variety of responsibilities. 1 Part time Afternoons 4:30 pm- 9:00 pm (Two to three days per week including Saturdays).
NURSES
Licensed in the state of Illinois as a RN or LPN, Experience working in skilled long-term care environment required, possess or be able to obtain current CPR certification, have an adequate understanding of English and be able to speak and write it well, work Independently, as well as a team member. Must be a flexible, highly customer service and people oriented individual who demonstrates compassion, patience and understanding, and is willing to do whatever it takes to provide the highest level of service. Be flexible and adapts to change and new tasks, familiar with the Rights of the Resident, the definition of Resident Abuse, and the reporting protocol of possible Resident Abuse, be able to respond quickly and appropriately to an emergency situation. Manually lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently, assist in transferring residents who weigh in excess of 100 lbs occasionally, tolerate long periods of walking, bending and standing. Pay up to $29 an hour.
1- FULL TIME 11pm-7am
1- PART TIME 7am-3:30 pm every other weekend and one week day a week
1- PART TIME 3-11PM Every Saturday and every other Friday
Member Services
Duties include errands for members, snow removal, phones, security, valet parking, & driving. Must have good driving record, excellent hospitality skills, be personable and good communication skills. 1 –Full Time –Flexible schedule / Various work shifts including weekends and holidays $12 hour & 1 Full time 3rd Shift 10:30 pm- 7:00 am, including Weekends and holidays $12.50 an hour.
Member Services Office Manager
Assist with Management of Member Services Department. Previous Supervisory Exp preferred. Scheduling for Staff, Dispatching duties, Lifeline/ Alarm systems,work order process, equipment & Accounting (Payables, Hotel Suites & Accounts receivable for Dept and Community Members). 1 Full time- pay is commensurate with Exp.
