ADMISSIONS DIRECTOR
Joliet, IL - We are seeking an Admissions Director for Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home (OLA). OLA is a Retirement Community that offers four levels of care: Independent Living, Sheltered Care, and Intermediate and Skilled Nursing services. We take pride in living by our mission statement. This position serves the spiritual needs of approximately 140 residents within our community as well as their families and our staff.
This is a full time position with a generous benefit package. The Director of Admissions is responsible for all duties involved in planning, organizing and directing admissions. The successful candidate for the Admissions Director position must have previous admissions or marketing experience in a long term care environment. Excellent communication skills, basic computer skills, initiative, and a thorough understanding of Medicaid, Medicare, all payer sources, and long term care are needed for this position.
Requirements:
Hold at least an Associates Degree.
Should possess excellent communication skills, oral and written; good management and organizational skills; good computer skills (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint,); be flexible; be tactful and gracious in dealing with all constituents of OLA.
Supportive, knowledgeable and understands the catholic Franciscan charism.
Must have compassion, tolerance, and an understanding for the elderly.
Provide community outreach for education of the facility, Medicare/Medicaid guidelines when appropriate.

The Development/Fundraising Director has a variety of responsibilities and coordinates efforts to increase Our Lady of Angel’s funding base. The director's main objective is planning, implementing, leading, and managing a comprehensive program designed to secure major gifts and grants, retain donors, and increase ongoing gifts for programs and unrestricted support while promoting OLA’s mission and vision.
This position also requires planning strategies in communication, public relations, publicity, publications, and advertising to ensure a clear, consistent, and compelling image of Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home.
Requirements:
1. Hold at Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience.
2. Minimum of 5-10 years of successful fundraising experience.
3. Should possess excellent communication skills, oral and written; good management and organizational skills; good computer skills (Word, Excel, Publisher, and Powerpoint,); be tactful and gracious in dealing with all constituents of OLA.
4. Supportive, knowledgeable and understands the catholic Franciscan charism.
