Diane O’Dea

Senior Care Consultant - Diane O'Dea, MA

When Diane’s mother was diagnosed with Parkinson’s; it threw her family into turmoil.  She had to find care for her mother, sell the house, find out what to do with all the stuff, and take care of financial matters.  After this experience, Diane realized how stressful and overwhelming it is for families to sort through senior housing and the issues that go along with it.

“The first person I helped find senior housing was Dorothy, my best friend’s mother.  She was in a property that wasn’t suited for her needs. My friend and her husband still rave about how much Dorothy has improved mentally and physically since she found her new home.  I am thrilled that I was able to help this family. I am looking forward for the joy and accomplishment that will come from helping other families.”
Diane has a Masters of Arts from the University of Hawaii in American Studies, and a Bachelors from Loyola in Liberal Studies.  Diane loves music, art and traveling. Diane.ODea@ASilverConnection.com

Angeline Freudenreich

Senior Care Consultant - Angel Freudenreich, BS

Angeline lost all her grandparents, except one cherished grandmother at a young age.  This grandmother has now also passed away, but not before inspiring her granddaughter’s work.  “My grandma, Helen, is both the reason and the inspiration for my career in senior housing.  When she moved into Independent Living she was happier and had friends to socialize with on a daily basis, instead of experiencing loneliness and isolation like so many other seniors.”

Angeline has worked in the senior care industry for over eight  years.  She started her career as the Director of Marketing for an Independent Living community and through the years has worked for Independent Living, Assisted Living and Alzheimer’s/Memory Care facilities as well as being recruited to help develop a new Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in the Western suburbs of Chicago.
She joined Silver Connections so that she could serve a larger segment of the senior population; whether they need Home Care, Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, or something entirely different than the usual housing needs.  “I help families by using my expertise to take all the work and worry out of their search for the right care for their loved one.  I love seeing the seniors I help living healthier, happier lives because they are receiving the support they need and deserve.” Angeline has a Bachelors of Science in Genetics from the University of Kansas, one of only 13 schools in the country to offer the accelerated degree.
